For raster layers there are few settings besides the visibility and scale limits described here. In map signatures which use GeoPackage files, settings are input as parameters in the map import process, and can't be changed later.

In layers with Map signatures which use source files such as ECW or MrSID, there are a few settings available. You can reach them by expanding the raster layer and opening the advanced properties for the sub-level.

The Rendering tab lets you choose which resampling method to use when drawing the map. This will affect performance (see this page for a comparison of how the different methods perform in Maria GDK.)

The remaining settings should not be necessary to change, as they should be set correctly when the map was imported.
